Responsibilities:
• Develop, enhance, and maintain full stack .NET applications that support business operations and user needs.
• Assess business requests by gathering context, clarifying requirements, and translating objectives into practical technical approaches before development begins.
• Examine existing applications to identify defects, trace root causes, and restore functionality when issues arise.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and subject matter experts to compare solution options and align on effective implementation plans.
• Write clean, well-structured, and testable code that supports long-term application stability and future enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and delivery planning to improve solution quality and team outcomes.
• Document findings, design considerations, and development decisions to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Work effectively within a hybrid schedule, contributing on site in Mississauga, Ontario for most of the work week. • Detail-oriented experience developing applications with .NET technologies across both front-end and back-end components.
• Ability to investigate unfamiliar systems, analyze issues methodically, and determine appropriate next steps.
• Strong understanding of software development practices, including debugging, testing, and code quality standards.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders to clarify business needs and refine technical solutions.
• Capable of evaluating differing viewpoints, communicating recommendations clearly, and supporting collaborative decision-making.
• Experience contributing in a contract or project-based environment with shifting priorities and evolving requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and practical way.
