Express Employment Professionals Delta/Richmond has a seasonal position for a Class 1 Driver in Nanaimo, BC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely driving 38ft and 42 ft pup trailers.
  • Utilizing electric pallet jack equipment and hand-bomb when necessary to deliver products to established customer locations.
  • With a professional attitude, ensuring the customer receives what they have ordered, including resolving customer issues.
  • Assist in payment collection when required.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Operate Automatic & Manual transmission.
  • Class 1 driver’s license (min 3 years).
  • Maintain a clean driver’s abstract.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.

TEAM PLAYER

  • Consistently demonstrate professionalism with internally and with our customers, even in stressful situations.
  • Fully proficient in the English language; reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, frequently walk and carry product.
