Description

Robert Half is seeking an experienced Controller on behalf of our client, a well-established organization looking for a strong financial leader to oversee accounting operations, strengthen internal controls, and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end and year-end close, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, helping to build an efficient and high-performing team
  • Evaluate systems, workflows, and reporting tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience as a Controller
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and financial tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively across departments and support operational and strategic goals
