Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:Secondary (High School) graduation certificate or equivalent; 1 year to less than 2 years' experience; good communication skills in English.
HOURS:This position has a flexible schedule but successful applicant must be available to mix a blend of days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
DUTIES:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and food
- Prepare dishes for Guests with food allergies or intolerances
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and safe food handling
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen helpers and student cooks
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work area
CREDENTIALS:
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Safe Food Handling Certificate / Food Safety Certificate
- Must be able to work in Canada legally
