  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and software-engineering best practices.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience working in Linux or Unix environments.
  • Experience designing, integrating or supporting distributed systems and APIs.
  • Ability to write clean, testable and well-documented code.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in investment banking, capital markets or financial-services technology.
  • Knowledge of Prime Services, Prime Brokerage, equities, financing, securities lending, clearing or the trade lifecycle.
  • Experience with messaging technologies, event-driven architectures or high-volume transaction-processing systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, DevOps practices and containerized environments.
  • Experience supporting business-critical trading, risk, financing or post-trade applications.
  • Exposure to global delivery models and follow-the-sun collaboration.
