What You'll Do:

• • Support the Engineering and Drafting team with the development, revision, and maintenance of multi-discipline engineering drawings and documentation
  • Work in both an office environment and active industrial Potash facility
  • Perform field verification, site measurements, and project scoping activities to collect accurate information for drawing updates and engineering projects
  • Create and revise engineering drawings using 2D AutoCAD as the primary deliverable
  • Interpret existing drawings, equipment layouts, and field conditions to support engineering design activities
  • Assist with document management and document control processes
  • Collaborate with engineers, maintenance and operations personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and complete project deliverables
  • Follow and promote strong safe-work practices while working in office and field environments

What You'll Bring:

Required Qualifications:

• • Currently enrolled in an Engineering Technology, Design and Drafting Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related program at an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Returning to full-time studies following the completion of the work term
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and the ability to travel to Mill site
  • Strong commitment to safety and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and comprehend design intent
  • Ability to collect accurate field measurements and document existing conditions in a clear and organized manner
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Available to work a four-day work week consisting of 10-hour shifts (Monday through Thursday)
