Responsibilities:

Conduct daily waste collection routes using assigned vehicles and equipment.

Safely operate waste collection trucks, compactors, and other specialized equipment.

Ensure compliance with waste collection regulations and company policies.

Inspect, maintain, and clean waste collection equipment regularly.

Sort and segregate recyclable materials from non-recyclables.

Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials according to established guidelines.

Communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and customers to address service-related issues or concerns.

Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Participate in training sessions and stay updated on waste management best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in waste management, recycling, or a related field is desirable.
