Bonus ProgramResponsibilities:Develop conceptual designs, studies, reports and proposals and ensure effective communication within project teams and with client engineerReport to Area Project Engineering Manager for project issues and to the overall Electrical Lead for functional issuesVisit project sites and other design offices for project related activities as required
Lead a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers and CAD personnel in the successful execution of electrical engineering and design for mining/mineral processing within budget and on scheduleProvide technical leadership and guidance for the electrical team
and mentor engineers-in-training and designersPrepare and check calculations as required and prepare electrical equipment specification packagesCheck vendor drawings and data for compliance with specifications and
prepare detailed design, supply, construction and installation specificationsSuccessful candidates will have:Engineer with 12+ years of relevant experience – preferably in an EPCM environment for industrial projectsEngineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer with the P.E.O or another Canadian Professional Engineering AssociationKnowledge of industry, regulatory codes and standards
Proficient with the following electrical design tools and software: SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower and ASPENDemonstrated ability to work effectively within multi disciplinary teamsThis posting is for an active opening.
