Brief description of the position :
In order to meet the needs of its clients in the Agri–Food sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for maintenance consultants motivated to carry out mandates. The main missions would be to manage equipment and systems maintenance projects, write preventive maintenance programs, supervise the operations of technicians and subcontractors, write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and functional tests and supervise improvement programs. continuous/operational excellence.
Main responsibilities :
Without limitation, the main tasks involve:
- Manage projects related to the maintenance of equipment and systems;
- Develop and update preventive maintenance programs for equipment and systems;
- Plan the execution of maintenance work according to resources, priorities and budgets;
- Ensure the coordination of maintenance activities with the departments involved (production, engineering, quality assurance);
- Manage continuous improvement projects / operational excellence of processes (feasibility, costs, deadlines, technical monitoring) in order to maintain the reliability of operations;
- Write functional test protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to maintenance;
- Train or participate in the training of maintenance personnel;
- Write up, if necessary, the deviations encountered and follow up to implement the CAPAs;
- Supervise the work of subcontractors, technicians and write maintenance reports;
- Provide solutions to problems encountered and perform all tasks relevant to the mandate.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, automation, electrical) or any other related discipline;
- Certificate, diploma or certificate (PMP) in project management (an asset);
- 1 (one) to 10 (ten) years of experience in industry, preferably in the food, (bio)pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics or chemical sector;
- Experience in maintenance project management;
- Working knowledge of CMMS software, Revit, an asset;
- Knowledge of risk analysis tools (FMEA, etc.), an asset;
- Knowledge of regulations (CFIA, Health Canada, FDA);
- Knowledge of the SQF food safety system as well as the HACCP methodology;
- Excellent skills in MS Office Suite;
- Good communication and writing skills in French and English;
- Mobility (an asset).
