Your future role on our team
Our Mining and Geology team is seeking a Lead Mineral Processing Engineer to contribute to every mining project phase, from prefeasibility studies to commissioning. Members of our multidisciplinary team pool their expertise, carry out high-tech process simulations and determine the equipment, tools and processes needed. There are many opportunities to collaborate with technical experts, mentor and share knowledge, and grow and develop.
An overview of your mandates and responsibilities
- Work respectfully and collaboratively with a team of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff
- Lead and manage a variety of cross-discipline teams to ensure cost effective, safe and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed client expectations
- Lead, review and approve process plant material balance, process design criteria, PFDs, P&IDs, plant layouts, technical specifications and technical evaluations
- Prepare operating cost evaluations
- Liaise with clients on a technical level and present reports, trade-off studies, publications and presentations in a professional manner
- Create and review proposals
- Train and share experiences with younger engineers
- Participate in business development and corporate growth
