Direct Hire Opportunity for Logistics Coordinator
Our client, a well-established food manufacturing company located in the North York area, is looking for a Direct Hire, Permanent Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team!

Key responsibilities:
- Manage orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs
- Plan and track shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers and customers to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management. Rate comparison. Data Entry, history analysis
- Coordinate with trucking companies/ truck drivers and 3PL
- Arrange same-day deliveries whenever possible.
- Prepare /Check accurate invoices from trucking company
Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in customer service or logistics management
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Experience driving counterbalance forklift is an asset
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
- Previous customer service experience
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen on working in a fast-paced environment
This is an excellent long-term, full-time opportunity located in the Jane and Wilson area. The work hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Location is TTC accessible and parking is available.
