Master's degree in a relevant field such as Research Administration, Business Administration, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in a research, innovation, academic, healthcare or applied research environment. Experience managing budgets, resources, multidisciplinary teams and complex projects. Experience with grant funding, proposal development, and research administration. Demonstrated experience developing partnerships with external stakeholders.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent strategic planning and organizational abilities. Knowledge of research methodologies, funding mechanisms, and research ethics. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Proficiency with project management, reporting and data analysis tools. Progressive leadership experience in health research, research administration, innovation or an academic health environment. Financial management and budgeting expertise. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD is considered an asset.
