An Edmonton client is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Overhead Crane Operator to handle and move structural steel products throughout their production facility.
Overhead Crane Operator Highlights:
Operate overhead cranes to safely move, position, and stage structural steel products throughout the paint area.
Lift and position bundled steel products for the dipping and painting process.
Bundle and secure materials before movement and finishing.
Safely handle long, heavy, and awkward steel loads.
Follow established rigging, lifting, and material-handling procedures.
Stage finished products in designated areas for the next stage of production or shipping.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of overhead crane operating experience.
Previous crane operating experience in a steel, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment.
Comfortable handling large, heavy, and awkward steel products.
Strong understanding of safe lifting and material-handling procedures.
Safety-conscious with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
