Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required (REMOVE if not applicable)
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid (REMOVE FA if not applicable)
• Availability to work days OR evenings (REMOVE whichever is NOT applicable and enter in specific hour if known) and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement.
