Brief description of the position :
In order to meet the needs of its clients in the Agri-Food sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for process engineering consultants motivated to carry out mandates. The main missions would be to manage process engineering projects, write and execute the URS, FAT, SAT, commissioning, design the plans (P&ID) of the processes, write standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manage any project related to process engineering.
Main responsibilities :
Without limitation, the main tasks involve:
- Manage projects related to food process engineering;
- Design and size food production and packaging process equipment;
- Write, supervise/execute URS, FAT, SAT, of equipment and systems;
- Keep preventive maintenance programs for equipment and systems up to date;
- Design process and system P&IDs and PFDs;
- Write standard operating procedures (SOP) and reports related to process engineering;
- Train or participate in the training of production personnel, ensure compliance with GMP and health and safety;
- Write up, if necessary, the deviations encountered and follow up to implement the CAPAs;
- Audit in order to identify shortcomings and put in place remediation plans;
- Provide solutions to problems encountered and perform all tasks relevant to the mandate.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, food, process), or any other related discipline;
- 1 (one) to 10 (ten) years of experience in industry, preferably in the food, (bio)pharmaceutical or cosmetics sector;
- Project management (an asset);
- Experience in process engineering in the food, pharmaceutical or related industry;
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit drafting software an asset;
- Experience in process engineering (an asset);
- Knowledge of regulations (CFIA, Health Canada, FDA);
- Knowledge of the SQF food safety system as well as the HACCP methodology;
- Excellent skills in MS Office Suite.
- Good communication and writing skills in French and English;
- Mobility (an asset).
