Brief description of the position :
In order to meet the needs of its clients in the Agri-Food sector, FOP CONSULTANTS is looking for project engineer/project manager consultants motivated to carry out mandates. The main missions would be to coordinate the various stages of the life cycle of the projects carried out at the client's site, to ensure the respect of the deadlines and the success of the projects while supporting the health and safety practices.
Main responsibilities :
Without limitation, the main tasks involve:
- Manage projects related to manufacturing processes, packaging, and equipment installation;
- Define scope and budget, plan timelines, identify resources and execute;
- Ensure stakeholders' understanding of objectives, deliverables issues, and ensure that customer expectations are met;
- Collaborate with all stakeholders (production and maintenance staff, administrative staff, etc.) to ensure that deliverables are completed on time;
- Ensure that all technical documentation (drawings, diagrams, etc.) is available;
- Communicate regularly on the status of projects to the various stakeholders;
- Act as an expert in providing technical and scientific support to clients;
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings, make recommendations on risks;
- Participate in weekly and monthly meetings, make recommendations on risks; Participate as needed in staff training, ensure compliance with GMP and health and safety;
- Audit to identify deficiencies and implement remediation plans.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, chemical, food) or other related discipline;
- 1 (one) to 10 (ten) years of experience in industry, preferably in the food, (bio)pharmaceutical or cosmetics sector;
- Project Management (an asset);
- Experience in project engineering in the food, pharmaceutical or related industry;
- Knowledge of regulations (CFIA, Health Canada, FDA);
- Knowledge of the SQF food safety system as well as the HACCP methodology;
- Excellent skills in MS Office Suite.
- Good communication and writing skills in French and English;
- Mobility (an asset).
