Job Title: Property Manager – Part Time

Location: Summerside. You must live in Summerside or the immediate area to qualify for this position.

Type: Part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week)

Start date: Immediately

Salary: $20.00 per hour

Job Description:

Red Sands Property Management is looking for a Property Manager to join our team in Summerside, PEI. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our rental properties in a hybrid work environment between home and office, reporting into the General Manager of Properties.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tenant acquisition process,
  • Support tenants and leasing initiatives,
  • Meet prospective tenants for showings,
  • Offer guidance on new tenant placements,
  • Post and report notices to tenants,
  • Conduct thorough move-in, move-out, and other property inspections,
  • Assist administration with collecting payment from delinquent tenants,
  • Photograph units and create listing descriptions for rental ads,
  • Oversee location-based superintendents and company representatives,
  • Input new properties, photos/videos, and notes into property management software,
  • Liaison with maintenance team on repair issues,
  • Support the manager of Airbnb with miscellaneous duties as required,
  • Any other duties assigned by the Red Sands Management Team.

Requirements:

  • Must have valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and clean criminal background check.
  • Must have strong computer skills,
  • Must have a smartphone which is capable of taking photos and videos,
  • Good at multitasking, problem-solving, and working well under pressure
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as needed, including holidays,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Knowledge of real estate law and regulations is a plus
