The Sudbury team is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with experience supporting underground mining projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment delivering a mix of large-scale EPCM projects and operations support initiatives across a variety of industries. Total rewards:$115000.00 - $165000.00 annuallyBuild a Rewarding Long-Term CareerWork with one of Canada's Top 3 Engineering FirmsPensionBonus ProgramA typical day:Lead and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers, Designers, and CAD professionals in the successful delivery of mining and mineral processing projects.Provide technical leadership, guidance, and support to electrical project teams and junior staff.Prepare, review, and approve engineering calculations, designs, and technical deliverables.Develop electrical equipment specifications and detailed design, procurement, construction, and installation documents.Review vendor drawings and technical data to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.Prepare conceptual designs, engineering studies, technical reports, and project proposals.Collaborate with project teams and client representatives to ensure effective communication and project execution.Monitor project performance, report on project metrics, and support site visits and project-related activities as required.Successful candidates will have:Electrical Engineer with 12+ years of relevant experience – preferably in an EPCM environment for industrial projectsUnderground mining project experience is requiredEngineering degree and registered as a Professional Engineer with the P.E.O or another Canadian Professional Engineering AssociationStrong communication skills - oral and written Knowledge of industry, regulatory codes and standardsProficient with the following electrical design tools and software: SPEL, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower and ASPENDemonstrated ability to work effectively within multi disciplinary teamsThis posting is for an active opening.
