Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack - Software Developer to support the design, development, and implementation of an innovative AI-powered platform focused on accelerating document and curriculum development processes through the use of AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), workflow automation, and human-in-the-loop review capabilities.

The successful consultant will contribute to the development of secure, scalable, enterprise-grade applications that leverage modern cloud technologies, AI services, and workflow orchestration while ensuring that business users retain full authority over decisions, approvals, and content validation.

This role requires strong full-stack development expertise combined with hands-on experience building AI-enabled applications, integrating AI agents, designing modern cloud architectures, and implementing secure, accessible, and auditable solutions.

Scope

• Design, develop, test, implement, and support AI-powered applications and workflows.

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.

• Develop and integrate AI agents into secure web-based platforms.

• Build APIs and application services supporting AI capabilities, document processing, and workflow automation.

Assignment Deliverables

• Enterprise-grade AI-enabled web applications.

• AI agent integrations and workflow automation solutions.

• RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Document processing and knowledge retrieval solutions.

• Human-in-the-loop review and approval workflows.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Design, develop, test and support AI-powered applications and workflows

• Develop and integrate AI agents into a secure web-based platform

• Develop APIs and application services that support AI capabilities, document processing and workflow automation.

• Implement human-in-the-loop workflows that allow users to review, validate and approve AI-generated content.

• Develop APIs and application services that support AI capabilities, document processing and workflow automation.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Responsible AI principle.

• Experience supporting Minimum Viable Product (MVP) delivery and iterative product enhancement.
