Senior Full Stack Software Developer - Java/React

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Full Stack Software Developer - Java/React for an enterprise-level contract opportunity based in Toronto. In this role, you will take on a premier full-stack engineering, technical leadership, and cloud solution architecture capacity, specializing in designing, modernizing, and delivering complex case management, CRM, permitting, and compliance platforms.

As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer, you will bridge the gap between responsive front-end applications, robust Java backend services, and cloud-native Microsoft Power Platform/Dynamics 365 ecosystems. Operating fully onsite in Toronto, you will lead end-to-end software delivery, design cloud integrations across Microsoft Azure and Dataverse, build custom web apps using Node.js, Next.js, React, and Java Spring Boot, and mentor technical engineering squads. This position demands a technical authority with extensive experience across modern JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, .NET/C#, REST APIs, and automated CI/CD pipelines who can balance strategic architectural decisions with hands-on development responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on mentorship to developers and technical team members across the SDLC.

Architect, design, and implement custom full-stack solutions and case management workflows using Java, React, Node.js, Next.js, .NET/C#, and Dynamics 365/Power Platform.

Perform code reviews, enforce security controls, establish coding standards, and maintain software delivery best practices.

Design and manage Dataverse data models, security frameworks, business rules, custom connectors, and API integrations.

Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native integration pipelines utilizing Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, App Services, and Key Vault.

Collaborate closely with business analysts, solution architects, and product leads to translate business requirements into technical design specifications and sprint backlogs.

Author enterprise architecture artifacts, including contextual, conceptual, logical, and physical solution designs.

Set up, manage, and optimize CI/CD release automation pipelines and source control workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Leverage AI productivity utilities (including Microsoft Copilot and AI Agents) to enhance code development, testing, and solution design frameworks.

Diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex application bugs, system bottlenecks, and multi-tier integration issues.

Qualifications
Core Technical & Software Engineering Requirements
Software Development Tenure: Minimum 7+ years of hands-on software engineering and enterprise application delivery experience.

Full-Stack & Language Proficiency: Minimum 7+ years of experience across Node.js, Next.js, React, Java (Spring Boot), TypeScript/JavaScript, and .NET/C#.

Technical Leadership: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Solution Lead capacity guiding Agile delivery squads.

Power Platform & Dynamics 365: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing case management or CRM solutions using Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Power Platform, Power Apps, and Dataverse.

Cloud Integration & APIs: Proven experience building RESTful web services, microservices, and enterprise cloud integrations using Microsoft Azure (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Key Vault).

DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Practical experience configuring continuous integration and automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub.

Preferred Experience & Domain Assets
Case Management & Regulatory Workflows: Direct experience designing solutions for permitting, licensing, registration, inspections, or compliance tracking.

Relational Databases: Strong SQL programming skills with relational database experience across SQL Server or Oracle.

Public Sector Context: Prior experience delivering enterprise applications within public sector or large enterprise organizations is an asset.
