Sr. Project Manager

We are seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to support a portfolio of high-profile initiatives within a large Canadian financial services organization.Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Sr. Project Manager in the financial services in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario. These opportunities are ideal for accomplished PMs who are comfortable operating in complex enterprise environments, managing multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders, and taking full ownership of projects from planning through execution and closure.

We are particularly interested in proactive, highly organized project leaders who can bring structure to ambiguity, anticipate risks before they become issues, and confidently drive stakeholders toward decisions and deliverables. A typical day:Lead projects and workstreams from initiation and planning through execution, implementation and closureDevelop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and action itemsProactively identify delivery risks and clearly communicate potential business and project impactsFacilitate project meetings, working sessions, steering committees and executive-level discussionsDrive decisions, actions and accountability across cross-functional stakeholder groupsPrepare concise, executive-ready status reports and presentationsManage competing priorities and changing requirements while maintaining control of project scope and deliverablesCoordinate business, technology, operations and other project stakeholdersSuccessful candidates will have:Demonstrated experience leading complex projects within a large enterprise environmentStrong end-to-end project management capabilities with a track record of independently driving deliveryExceptional organization, attention to detail and follow-throughStrong ability to proactively identify, articulate and escalate project risks, issues and dependenciesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior and executive stakeholdersStrong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skillsAbility to operate effectively in environments with changing priorities, evolving requirements and multiple stakeholdersAbility to translate complex project information into clear, concise and executive-ready updatesTotal rewards:$100.00 - $130.00 hourly An ideal candidate has:Previous experience within a major Canadian bank or financial institutionExperience within Wealth Management, Private Wealth, Investments, Insurance, Asset Management or related financial services environmentsFamiliarity with enterprise project governance, financial management, risk management and regulatory environmentsExperience supporting large transformation, technology, data or AI-enabled initiativesPMP, Agile or other relevant project management certificationsThis posting is for an active opening.
