An Edmonton client is seeking an experienced Structural Welder to join their fabrication team.
Structural Welder Highlights:
- Read IFC drawings and fabricate structural steel, including skids, ladders, platforms, and tanks
- Fit and weld carbon and chrome steel using MCAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes
- Work independently or as part of a team
- Keep your work area clean and organized, and help others do the same
- Follow workplace safety procedures and use required PPE
- Perform additional duties as required
Requirements:
- 3+ years of structural steel welding and fabrication experience
- Strong structural steel fitting skills
- Experience with MCAW, SMAW, and FCAW processes
- Ability to read IFC drawings
- Must pass a 3F/4F in-position weld test
- CWB FCAW all-position ticket, or able to test for it (preferred)
- Safety-focused, with good communication skills and the ability to follow direction
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English
- Reliable and hardworking
Hours & Wage:
- Monday–Thursday, 4 x 10-hour shifts
- 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
- $38-$41/hour
- Overtime available; weekends and longer days may be needed on short notice
- Company may cover the CWB ticket for long-term employees
