· Provide leadership and supervision to program staff, including assigning and monitoring work, providing coaching and case consultation, supporting problem-solving, and conducting regular supervision and performance conversations

· Support staff development and team effectiveness through recruitment, orientation, training, regular team meetings, and identification of ongoing learning and competency-development needs

· Monitor client needs, caseloads, court schedules, service trends, and program outcomes to ensure services remain responsive and effective and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement

· Support program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement, including maintaining program resources, gathering client feedback and outcome data, identifying service gaps, and recommending improvements to practices and processes

· Oversee program financial, contractual, and reporting requirements, including monitoring expenditures, funding agreements, service targets, program statistics, and reporting requirements

· Build and maintain strong community partnerships with police, Crown Counsel, probation services, child welfare, health professionals, Indigenous and community organizations, and other service partners to support coordinated and accessible services

· Ensure program documentation and practices meet organizational, contractual, accreditation, privacy, and legislative requirements, while maintaining current knowledge of the criminal justice system and legislation affecting victim services

What You Bring to the Role

· A minimum two-year diploma in social work, criminology, psychology, counselling, victim services, or a related human services field

· At least three years of recent, related experience providing direct services to individuals impacted by power-based crimes and violence, including at least one year of supervisory or administrative experience

· Knowledge of the criminal justice system, court processes, and legislation related to victim services

· Strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered practices, particularly in supporting individuals impacted by power-based crimes and violence

· Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and support staff, while building a collaborative and accountable team

· Experience building effective relationships with community agencies, justice partners, and other professionals

· Knowledge of program planning, budgeting, contract administration, and program evaluation

· Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and electronic records systems

· A satisfactory Criminal Record Check under the BC Criminal Records Review Act
