Your role

  • Responsible for day-to-day interdisciplinary integration, interface coordination, and verification of engineering deliverables against the approved project scope and delivery requirements.
  • Ensures engineering inputs across disciplines are consistent, compatible, and ready for delivery by maintaining visibility of technical interfaces and coordination dependencies across packages.
  • Works with Design Leads to identify interdisciplinary design issues and Early Warning Notices at the earliest opportunity and records them in the project issues log.
  • Monitors engineering inputs and coordination through Issues Log for tracking and resolution.
  • Tracks RFIs, assumptions, risks, deviations, interface control documents, and open issues within ACC to provide clear deliverable status visibility and escalate items requiring timely decisions or resolution.
  • Prepares and maintains integration documentation, including design briefs, assumption logs, design decision logs, RFI logs, interface records, and presentations.
  • Supports delivery certainty by helping internal teams produce documentation in approved formats and by supporting risk, hazard, and safety management inputs when required.

About you

  • Strong academic foundation in systems, electrical, mechanical engineering, or computer science.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering and integration on major rail/transit, infrastructure, or other complex systems projects.
  • Familiarity with design software and project management tools, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, manage data, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team.
