Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of six (6) months of experience working in a tertiary rehabilitation environment is required. Ability to prioritize and organize workload with minimal direct supervision, demonstrate creative problem-solving, and adapt to changing clinical demands and patient care needs. Effective written, verbal, communication, and computer skills are required. Previous experience working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings is required. The successful incumbent will be capable of performing lifts, transfers, repositioning, and other physically demanding activities associated with this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Connect Care is considered an asset. Additional rehabilitation experience beyond the required six months is preferred.
