Job Description
Express Employment Professionals, Mississauga North, is currently hiring Warehouse Associates for an active client opportunity. This is a hands-on role involving unloading floor-loaded trailers of designer shoes, repetitive lifting, sorting boxes by serial number, and preparing skids for shipment.
The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
Unload floor-loaded trailers containing designer shoes.
Repeatedly lift and lower boxes weighing up to 20 lbs.
Manually sort boxes according to serial numbers and place them on skids.
Wrap and prepare skids for shipping.
Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to identify items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
Maintain a safe, accessible, and organized warehouse.
Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.
Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to perform repetitive lifting and lowering of boxes weighing up to 20 lbs.
Comfortable performing hands-on, physically repetitive warehouse work.
Strong attention to detail when sorting boxes by serial number and handling orders.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Reliable, organized, and able to support daily warehouse operations.
