Our client, a leading organization in the printing and packaging industry, is seeking a Bindery Operator to join their team. As a Bindery Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting operational excellence and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Bindery Operator
Location: Richmond, BC
Pay Range: $32-36/hr
Shift: Afternoon shifts (Flexible)
Full-time, permanent
What's the Job?
- Operate, set up, and maintain bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders)
- Perform cutting, folding, stitching, gluing, die-cutting, embossing, laminating, and heat-stamping.
- Set up and operate equipment such as the Bobst folder gluer, InkJet labeler, and other finishing machines to meet production deadlines.
- Perform hand and machine operations to collate, fold, bind, and finish print materials with precision.
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished products and maintaining machinery through cleaning and repairs.
