• Checks and maintains drilling and blasting equipment and accessories;
• Organizes and carries out blasting operations or any other work requiring the use of explosives;
• Repares, organizes and carries out drilling operations using hydraulic drills;
• Dynamite trenches, masses and road networks (pipeline);
• With proper training and a valid card, the blaster may be required to use handling and motorized equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platforms, etc.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure compliance with company and construction industry standards;
• Work as part of a team, maintaining a pleasant and trusting working environment, communicating effectively with colleagues and other trades on the site;
• Care for and maintain construction equipment;
• Carry out all other related operational tasks.
This role is made for you if you have:
• A valid CCQ occupation card
• A drilling and blasting DVS
• ASP Construction & WHMIS 201 card
• Valid driver's license - Class 5
