Key Responsibilities
- Operate a chainsaw daily to cut scrap plastic pipes in all weather conditions.
- Control the material handling process by inspecting, counting/measuring quantities and lengths, and checking product and machine conditions accurately.
- Operate a forklift safely and proficiently.
- Place stock in proper holding locations in an organized and neat manner.
- Participate in all 5-S and Lean Manufacturing initiatives promoted by Infra Pipe.
- Conduct work according to established Infra Pipe procedures, policies, and standards.
- Actively participate in Health & Safety training and promote a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Ability to develop strong and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Flexibility to work in other departments at the Huntsville location as required.
- Forklift operation experience is an asset.
