- Build and update construction schedules and milestones with the project management team, and address delays quickly.
- Manage construction budgets, track costs, and find savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Select, onboard, and manage subcontractors, and coordinate vendors and suppliers for on-time delivery.
- Review, price, and track change orders, and make sure approvals are in place before changed work proceeds.
- Enforce BUILD IT’s Health & Safety program and COR requirements on every site.
- Run regular site visits to inspect, monitor, and document progress.
- Make sure site supervisors use Procore consistently to log project information, drawings, and documentation.
- Report progress, risks, and changes to the Director of Construction, clients, and the project team.
- Resolve site issues and disputes with trades, clients, and suppliers quickly and professionally.
What we’re looking for

- Proven track record delivering commercial interior and/or ground-up projects on time and on budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and cost control.
- Experience selecting and managing subcontractors and pricing change orders.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong working knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and site safety programs.
- Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for regular site visits.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Nice to have
- Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working within a COR-certified safety program.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, workspace, or health and wellness fit-outs.
