Our client, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Equipment Operations team supporting warehousing activities. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and clear verbal and written communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Richmond, BC

Pay Range: $24/hr

Shift: Second Shift (10am to 6:30pm)

What's the Job?

  • Operate and drive equipment such as trucks and forklifts to support warehousing activities.
  • Handle receiving and material movement to transport goods safely and efficiently.
  • Perform material handling tasks to support storage, staging, and distribution of materials.
  • Support day-to-day equipment operations by following safe operating practices.
  • Use knowledge of machines and tools to help maintain effective equipment performance.

What's Needed?

  • Verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read blueprints (if required for the role).
  • If required, ability to possess or obtain the necessary equipment operation certification or licenses (e.g., forklift operators license; commercial driving license may be required).
