Do you have an eye for detail and enjoy working on equipment in a fast-paced environment? Working within a small collaborative team, the Machine Operator role is critical to ensuring our products meet our highest quality standards and customers’ expectations. This position is responsible for ensuring the equipment is operating efficiently, that materials are aligned properly, and for conducting general repairs as needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Setup and operate machines, including a Weber machine.
  • Manage equipment adjustments to ensure quality and productivity.
  • Follow the specific requirements of the Plant Safety and Quality Program.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical information.
  • Follow the Emergency and Bio-Security Procedure requirements.
  • Conduct finished product inspections and required paperwork.

Hours

The hours of work for this shift are: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Overtime may be offered or required, to meet operational demands. A full-time night shift premium of $3.00 per hour above the employee’s base rate of pay for permanent night shift employees.

  • Self-motivated with the willingness to stick to tasks that may be repetitive in nature
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to lift products ranging in weight of over ten pounds, bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Able to follow instructions with minimal supervision
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
