Adecco is currently hiring a Mould Maker for a full-time opportunity with an established manufacturing organization in Markham, ON. This role is ideal for a highly skilled tooling professional with experience in mould building, CNC machining, EDM operations, and injection mould maintenance.

  • Pay Rate: $38 - $45/hour

  • Location: Markham, ON

  • Shift : Afternoon shift

Responsibilities:

  • Build, modify, and repair moulds, tooling, fixtures, and precision components.

  • Support tooling improvements and continuous process optimization.

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machining centers, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and related toolroom equipment.

  • Select machining methods and tooling to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications on moulds and dies.

  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and maintain tooling records.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling design and improvements.

  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

  • Support team members and collaborate across production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker, Mould Maker, Toolmaker, or related tooling professional.

  • Strong experience building moulds, fixtures, jigs, and precision tooling.

  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.

  • Experience programming and operating CNC machining equipment, Wire EDM, and Sinker EDM.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work overtime or flexible shifts when required.

  • Experience with Agie/GF and Fanuc controls is preferred.

  • Experience with GibbsCAM, SolidWorks, or similar CAD/CAM software is preferred.

  • Injection moulding industry experience is preferred.

  • Experience manufacturing high-precision components with tight tolerances is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Moldflow software is an asset.

  • Experience in quality-focused manufacturing environments.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
