Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Full-Time Sorter/Scanner to join their team. As a Sorter/Scanner, you will be part of the logistics team supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, dependability, and adaptability which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Full-Time Sorter & Scanner
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
What's the Job?
- Unload all curbside delivery vehicles
- Load line haul trailers in accordance with scheduled departures
- Perform accurate scanning, cubing, and reweighing of parcels
- Operate conveyor and roller belt systems within trailers, containers, and delivery trucks
- Lift packages up to 70 lbs consistently
What's Needed?
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or sorting environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable using a pump truck and other manual material handling equipment
⚠ Important: Must be available for on-call shifts as required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be dependable, punctual, and adaptable to changing shift schedules
