- Own data management for packaging procurement: keep all records accurate and up to date across systems, including purchase orders, receipts, inventory balances, lot numbers, transfers, supplier information, and material specifications.
- Maintain the master record of all graphics and artwork, tracking current versions, revision history, and where each version is held in inventory, and flagging obsolete artwork for disposition.
- Perform month-end reconciliations of packaging inventory and purchase activity, investigating and resolving variances with co-packers and finance.
- Partner with the Operations and Quality teams to confirm material availability for production runs and ensure all packaging materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Work with the Quality team and co-packers to ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are applied to packaging inventory.
- Proactively communicate order status, inventory positions, risks, and resolution timelines to internal stakeholders and co-packers.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete packaging and collaborate with relevant teams to develop disposition plans.
- Propose process improvements to enhance efficiency in materials planning, movement, and recordkeeping.
- Support procurement-related projects and additional assignments as necessary.
