Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Programmatic Supervisor based in Canada.

We are seeking an experienced Programmatic Supervisor to lead strategic initiatives and drive the growth of programmatic advertising services within a performance-driven environment. In this leadership role, you will oversee the development and execution of sophisticated advertising strategies that deliver measurable business results for B2B and SaaS clients. You will combine strategic vision, hands-on campaign expertise, and people management to strengthen programmatic capabilities and maximize client performance. Working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, and technology partners, you will identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement. You will also contribute to new business development, industry thought leadership, and internal knowledge sharing. This is an opportunity to shape programmatic strategy, develop high-performing teams, and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, remote-first organization.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will lead programmatic strategy and activation while ensuring campaigns consistently deliver against client objectives and business growth targets. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive programmatic advertising strategies to expand service capabilities and drive measurable results.

    • Lead and optimize programmatic campaigns, ensuring alignment with client objectives and broader marketing strategies.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate programmatic initiatives with paid media, organic channels, and overall marketing efforts.

    • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), developing measurement frameworks and actionable recommendations for continuous optimization.

    • Manage and strengthen relationships with programmatic partners, vendors, and advertising platforms to access innovative solutions and technologies.

    • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth.

    • Provide programmatic expertise and strategic insights to support new business pitches, including campaign audits and client presentations.

    • Contribute to departmental development through thought leadership, industry insights, and internal learning and development initiatives.

    • Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, client growth, and the overall effectiveness of programmatic services.

    • Requirements

The ideal candidate combines extensive programmatic advertising experience with strong leadership, analytical, and client-facing capabilities. You should demonstrate:

      • 7+ years of professional experience in programmatic advertising, ideally within a publisher, advertising agency, or ad tech environment.

      • At least 2 years of people management experience, with a proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams.

      • Demonstrated success driving programmatic growth for B2B and SaaS clients, managing advertising budgets exceeding $50,000 per month.

      • Strong understanding of how programmatic advertising integrates with other paid and organic marketing channels to achieve broader business objectives.

      • Proven experience in programmatic media planning and developing measurement frameworks to assess campaign performance.

      • Recent hands-on experience building, managing, and optimizing campaigns across DSP platforms, preferably The Trade Desk (TTD), Nexxen, and DV360.

      • Account-Based Marketing (ABM) experience.

      • Experience supporting new business development through programmatic audits, strategic recommendations, and client presentations.

      • Ability to provide strategic perspectives and subject matter expertise while contributing to departmental innovation and knowledge development.

      • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.

      • Strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset.

      • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a dynamic environment.

      • Current work authorization and permanent residence in Canada.

      • Benefits

        • Annual base salary: CAD $100,000–$130,000, depending on experience, with bonus eligibility.

        • Health coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as disability and life insurance for you and your family.

        • Employer-paid insurance: 100% employer-paid coverage for employees and a 50% employer contribution toward dependent coverage.

        • Mental well-being: Access to certified therapists through Spring Health and a Headspace membership.

        • Physical well-being: Gympass membership.

        • Flexible time off: Unlimited paid time off, with a minimum expectation of two weeks annually.

        • Additional holidays: Paid company holidays, your birthday off, and an end-of-year recharge period from December 24 to January 1.

        • Parental support: Paid parental leave.

        • Retirement savings: Traditional and Roth 401(k) plans with a 3% company match.

        • Annual bonus: Bonus program based on tenure, with the total amount increasing over time.

        • Team experiences: Annual anniversary trip with colleagues and executive leadership.

        • Remote flexibility: Fully remote work from your home office anywhere in Canada, with virtual collaboration through tools such as Zoom and Slack.
