  • Support analysis of actual performance against approved baselines and forecasts.
  • Identify trends and potential deviations before they become significant project issues.
  • Challenge data and assumptions where appropriate and ensure reported information is supported by reliable source data.
  • Support the development and maintenance of performance measurement methodologies.

Nuclear Project Governance

  • Ensure reporting activities comply with applicable nuclear-industry requirements, project procedures, quality-management processes, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain appropriate records, documentation, approvals, and audit trails for reported information.
  • Promote a strong nuclear safety culture, recognizing that schedule, cost, and production objectives must never compromise nuclear safety or quality.
  • Ensure reporting reflects approved scope, configuration, design status, work controls, and project governance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, management reviews, regulatory interactions, and project assurance activities as required.

Risk, Issues & Opportunities

  • Coordinate integration of project risks, issues, opportunities, and mitigation actions into project reporting.
  • Track the status and effectiveness of key mitigation and recovery actions.
  • Provide trend analysis and early-warning indicators to project leadership.
  • Ensure significant risks and issues are appropriately escalated through project governance channels.

Change & Configuration

  • Coordinate reporting of approved and pending changes affecting scope, cost, schedule, resources, risk, and delivery.
  • Ensure reporting reflects the current approved project baseline and authorized changes.
  • Work with Change Management and Configuration Management teams to maintain consistency between project records and performance reports.

Stakeholder & Leadership Support

  • Act as the primary reporting focal point for the project.
  • Coordinate reporting inputs across multiple project organizations, contractors, suppliers, and functional teams.
  • Facilitate reporting review meetings and challenge sessions with responsible managers.
  • Prepare material for project leadership meetings, steering committees, client reviews, and executive briefings.
  • Translate complex technical and project information into clear messages appropriate for senior decision-makers.
  • Ensure actions arising from reporting cycles are clearly assigned, tracked, and closed.

Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and continuously improve reporting processes, templates, dashboards, and data-management practices.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve data quality and reporting efficiency.
  • Promote standardized definitions, KPI methodologies, reporting calendars, and data structures across the project.
  • Establish lessons learned and apply industry and project best practices.
