School Bus Driver

SOUTHLAND Transportation is pleased to be expanding our operations in Saskatchewan and are currently seeking dedicated and safety-minded School Bus Drivers to join our team in Wilkie. Hours of Work

Monday to Friday - no mandatory nights or weekends

Split shifts (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)

Job Description

As a School Bus Driver you will be driving approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. Drivers work during the school year and are given time off in July and August.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license
  • S-endorsement is preferred
  • Wheelchair experience will be considered an asset
  • Clear criminal background check with VSS search
  • Clear driver’s abstract
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • Minimum 5 years of driving experience
  • Must have a safe driving record
  • Organized, punctual and reliable
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Navigation skills
