Position Overview
Position Title: Security Guard
Employment Type: Temporary (As Needed)
Pay Rate: $22.50 per hour
Site Overview
Located in Princeton, BC, this client site offers a welcoming environment focused on community safety and positive customer interactions. As a Security Guard on site, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional atmosphere for employees, visitors, and the public.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintain a visible security presence to reassure clients, staff, and visitors.
Patrol site premises, manage access control points, and report any hazards or irregularities.
Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
Enforce site rules, safety protocols, and regulations.
Write detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports.
Provide high-quality customer service and assist visitors as needed.
Must Haves
Valid BC Security License.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to remain composed and professional during high-pressure situations.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Nice-to-Haves
Basic Occupational First Aid certification.
Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
Previous experience in customer service or security roles.
