SMS Security is a mid-sized security & systems company seeking Security Guards to join our growing team. A company that prides itself on promoting from within, the role of Security Guard is an opportunity to advance your career in the security industry. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates with a valid Security Guard License to join our growing team! As a Security Guard, you will be assigned shifts in condo buildings across the GTA.

What you’ll be doing

  • Perform concierge duties and provide exceptional customer service
  • Perform patrols of buildings and complete reports
  • Manage parcel delivery and visitors to the site
  • Enforce property rules, city by-laws, and other applicable laws
  • Maintain a presence to ensure the safety and security of all persons on site
  • Respond to various types of emergencies (fire alarms/elevator entrapments/medical emergencies)

What we’re looking for

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask
  • Good listener and positive attitude
  • Ability to stay calm under stress
  • An enthusiastic and experienced leader
  • Valid Security Guard license
  • Able to communicate fluently in English (Written and Oral)
  • First Aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Schedule flexibility
