About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support the automation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational enablement of enterprise platform environments and services within a large-scale public sector environment.
The successful consultant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, environment configuration, release automation, observability, security controls, secrets management, and operational tooling required to support reliable software delivery across development, testing, staging, and production environments. Working closely with developers, architects, QA specialists, cybersecurity teams, and operations staff, the consultant will contribute to secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based platform services.
Scope
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for enterprise platform applications.
Provision, configure, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and platform services using approved automation practices.
Develop and maintain tools, scripts, utilities, APIs, reusable automation, and platform components that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
Support microservices, APIs, distributed applications, and cloud-based development platforms.
Assignment Deliverables
Automated CI/CD pipelines supporting enterprise platform applications and services.
Infrastructure-as-code templates, environment configurations, and deployment automation solutions.
Cloud infrastructure and platform services deployed and maintained within Microsoft Azure.
Monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions supporting operational excellence.
Automation tools, scripts, APIs, and reusable platform services.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
Experience supporting multiple environments and complex release management processes.
Experience developing tools, scripts, utilities, APIs, or automation using modern programming languages and software development best practices.
Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, platform services, networking, identity management, monitoring, and security.
Experience operating and supporting microservices, APIs, distributed applications, and cloud-based development tools.
Experience with source control, code review, unit testing, debugging, refactoring, and technical documentation.
Experience implementing observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, resiliency, backup, recovery, and secure configuration practices.
Nice to Have:
Experience with containerization, configuration management, and enterprise deployment frameworks.
Experience developing operational dashboards, health checks, and performance reporting capabilities.
Security Clearance
