About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support enterprise cloud integration platforms and AWS-based application environments. The successful consultant will build, deploy, operate, and maintain cloud infrastructure and application services supporting enterprise integration, publish-subscribe messaging, API services, and containerized workloads.

This role requires extensive expertise in AWS infrastructure-as-code, serverless technologies, container orchestration, cloud security, operational support, and DevOps best practices. The consultant will work with cloud-native technologies including AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, Application Load Balancers, and NextGen Connect (Mirth) to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.

Scope

• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.

• Support serverless and containerized application platforms in production environments.

• Build and maintain reusable AWS CDK and CloudFormation components for enterprise cloud deployments.

• Support API integrations, event-driven architectures, and application connectivity requirements.

Assignment Deliverables

• AWS CDK applications developed in Python and JavaScript.

• CloudFormation templates and reusable infrastructure constructs.

• Infrastructure deployment plans, validation controls, and rollback procedures.

• Production-ready AWS Lambda and API Gateway implementations.

• ECS container environments supporting Java, Python, and NextGen Connect services.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Advanced AWS CDK & CloudFormation expertise, including CDK development using Python and JavaScript, reusable constructs, stack architecture, dependencies, parameters, outputs, environment configuration, deployment controls, and rollback strategies.

• Strong AWS Lambda and API Gateway experience, including deployment, integrations, triggers, runtime configuration, authentication, permissions, concurrency management, monitoring, logging, and production support.

• Hands-on Amazon ECS administration experience supporting Java and Python containerized applications, including task definitions, services, container images, scaling, health checks, and deployment troubleshooting.

• Experience with Application Load Balancers (ALB), including listener configuration, target groups, routing rules, SSL certificates, security groups, and performance troubleshooting.

• NextGen Connect (Mirth) administration experience in containerized AWS environments, including channel deployment, configuration promotion, monitoring, and runtime diagnostics.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Amazon ECR and container security practices.

• Experience with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, distributed tracing, and advanced monitoring solutions.

• Experience managing certificates, encryption keys, secrets, and vulnerability remediation activities.
