An Edmonton client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver for a temporary position, with the possibility of extension and permanent employment.
Shipper/Receiver Highlights:
Prepare bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
Assemble containers and crates, including loading and unloading trucks.
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documentation.
Maintain accurate internal records.
Record shortages and report damaged goods.
Pack goods for shipment and unpack incoming products.
Apply identifying information and shipping instructions to shipments.
Operate trucks and sit-down forklifts in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of forklift operating experience.
Experience operating Raymond reach trucks and sit-down forklifts.
Forklift and reach truck certifications are preferred and considered an asset.
Must have steel-toed boots.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. manually on occasion, approximately 2–12 times per day. Most lifting is completed using a forklift.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Hours & Wage:
Wage: $18/per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
