Completion of a two-year Food Service Management course or equivalent management training, required. Food Safe certificate, required. Minimum 2 years recent experience in a supervisory capacity, required. Minimum 3 years experience of related health care experience, required. Experience in employee scheduling, required. Experience in conducting customer satisfaction surveys/quality audits, required. Experienced in customer relations, required. Working knowledge of therapeutic diets, required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in office procedures and computer applications in a Windows environment including word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, Email, Internet and staff scheduling programs. Working knowledge of interpreting collective agreements. Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Displays a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Able to handle multiple demands concurrently. Able to apply leadership skills appropriate to the situation. Displays flexibility and professional approach to decision making and conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current knowledge and comprehension of dietary guidelines and food services terminology, self-motivated and self-directed. Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and quality assurance. Strong organizational skills. Excellent time management skills. Demonstrated ability to contribute and function as part of a team. Supports a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
