System Architect:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a System Architect for a 3–6 month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Markham office.

System Architect - Job Description:
The project involves infrastructure modernization and support for ongoing projects, focusing on Azure and hybrid/on-prem infrastructure. The role requires designing solutions, establishing standards, and leading projects to facilitate legacy-to-Azure migrations.

System Architect - Responsibilities:
• Own Azure / Azure Local / hybrid infrastructure architecture
• Design cloud, server, storage, networking, identity, and backup solutions
• Lead legacy-to-Azure migrations and modernization
• Govern M365, Intune, Defender, and Purview
• Architect backup/DR using Veeam, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery
• Lead automation / IaC using PowerShell, Terraform, or Bicep/ARM
• Mentor technical teams and provide architecture leadership

System Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure/systems experience
• 5+ years at Senior/Lead/Architect level
• Deep hands-on Microsoft Azure + hybrid cloud architecture
• Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and M365
• Strong backup/DR architecture experience
• PowerShell automation
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication
