Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, revise, and maintain product datasheets, user manuals, quick start guides, installation guides, and technical documentation.
- Translate technical specifications and engineering information into clear, concise documentation.
- Work with other departments to gather and verify technical information.
- Review documentation for technical accuracy, consistency, grammar, and formatting.
- Review product specifications, drawings, wiring diagrams, firmware changes, and product revisions to determine documentation requirements.
- Identify missing or unclear technical information and obtain clarification
- Update documentation to reflect new products, product revisions, firmware updates, and specification changes.
- Review wiring diagrams, product drawings, specifications, and other technical materials.
- Maintain document revisions and ensure current documentation is properly published.
- Proofread and edit documentation for technical accuracy, grammar, readability, and consistency.
- Use AI tools to support research, drafting, editing, content restructuring, consistency checks, and documentation maintenance.
Documentation
- Maintain documentation source files and revision history using a Docs-as-Code workflow.
- Have use Git-based version control and related tools to manage documentation changes, reviews, and releases.
- Experience using AI tools for technical writing and documentation workflows.
- Follow documentation templates, standards, revision controls, and approval processes.
- Maintain document revisions and ensure the latest approved documentation is available.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- 3+ years of experience in technical writing, engineering documentation, product documentation, or a related field.
- Experience with electrical, electronic, industrial, automation, instrumentation, or similar products is preferred.
