  • Evaluating Trainees: Assess student comprehension and physical execution of course material through written tests and practical evaluations.

  • Managing Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate student files, attendance logs, and certification records following each training session.

  • Collaborating with Operations: Provide regular feedback to the operational leadership team regarding trainee progress, strengths, and areas needing improvement.

  • Maintaining Trainer Status: Complete and maintain required instructor certifications, including Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB), to teach approved courses.

What You Bring

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following core requirements:

  • Certifications: Current certifications in Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB), Use of Force (UOF), and First Aid, or the physical and professional capability to successfully complete MOAB instructor certification.

  • Physical Capabilities: The physical fitness and mobility necessary to demonstrate, instruct, and evaluate physically demanding course components, such as defensive tactics and physical interventions.

  • Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to present information clearly and comfortably instruct adult learners in both small and large group settings.

  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers to navigate scheduling systems, complete administrative reports, and use standard office software.

  • Flexibility and Transport: Availability to work variable hours based on training demand, along with reliable personal transportation to travel to designated training locations.

  • Work Authorization: Legal authorization to work in Canada.
