- Own the end-to-end architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of Sienna’s Fortinet security ecosystem (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiSwitch, FortiAP), setting technical standards for firewall policy, VPN connectivity, network segmentation, and secure remote access.
- Direct network upgrades, migrations, and technology modernization initiatives, managing budget, vendor, and resource allocation to minimize operational disruption.
- Establish enterprise network standards, documentation, and operational runbooks, and oversee capacity planning and performance optimization to ensure highly available, resilient network services.
- Serve as the senior escalation point and decision-maker for complex network and security incidents, directing root cause analysis, problem management, and permanent corrective action.

- Partner with Cybersecurity leadership on incident response, compliance, and secure-by-design practices, and provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise security tools in coordination with the Security Operations team.
- Provide management oversight for enterprise wireless infrastructure across all locations, and guide the team on Azure networking (Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, VPN Gateways, ExpressRoute, Azure Firewalls) and secure hybrid connectivity.
- Ensure enterprise Cloud VoIP solutions are effectively deployed and administered, including voice quality, SIP connectivity, QoS, and call routing.
- Own recurring security metrics and reporting for leadership, and serve as first-line escalation for security incident response.
- Own vendor and contract management for network and security tooling, negotiating pricing, service levels, and renewals in partnership with Procurement and Finance.
- Develop network governance standards, change management practices, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning, and contribute to enterprise roadmap planning and technology evaluations.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive networking and security experience, including 6+ years hands-on with FortiGate technologies in large-scale enterprise environments (100+ firewalls, 600+ switches, 6,000+ wireless access points).
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience within a network or security function, with a proven ability to manage staff, vendors, and competing priorities.

- Security certification such as CISSP or CompTIA CySA+ (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive expertise in enterprise routing and switching (VLANs, STP, SD-WAN, DNS, DHCP, NTP, VPN, QoS) and experience implementing Network Access Control (NAC) solutions.
- Experience designing and supporting Azure networking and hybrid cloud connectivity, including Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, and Network Security Groups.
- Experience overseeing wireless network design across large, multi-site environments, and with SIP, Cloud VoIP, and telecommunications vendor coordination.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, change management, and vulnerability management experience, with the ability to explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong people-management skills, including performance management, coaching, staff development, and vendor/budget management.
