On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for an Intermediate - Full Stack (Java, React, OpenShift) for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Intermediate - Full Stack (Java, React, OpenShift) - Job Description:
The Applications Development Sr Programmer Analyst is responsible for delivering key projects and guiding junior developers to establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs. This role involves working on applications systems analysis and programming activities within the Global Fixed Income Trade Processing Team.

Intermediate - Full Stack (Java, React, OpenShift) - Responsibilities:
• Work with Applications Development professionals to accomplish established goals
• Conduct personnel duties for team, including performance evaluations and training
• Oversee process for technical issue escalation and prioritize technical issue resolution
• Leverage skills across Applications Development area to provide technical oversight
• Communicate departmental interdependence and cross product/project collaboration
• Resolve issues using in-depth knowledge of applications development
• Contribute to planning, budget management, and resource planning

Intermediate - Full Stack (Java, React, OpenShift) - Mandatory Skills:
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Experience in leading and implementing successful projects
• Proficiency in Java, React, Angular, and OpenShift
• Extensive knowledge of software engineering and object-oriented design
• Experience with dependency management and continuous integration tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in building large distributed systems

Intermediate - Full Stack (Java, React, OpenShift) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Fixed Income products
• Knowledge of SOA & Micro-services utilizing REST
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience in RDBMS and SQL/PLSQL
• Experience using monitoring tools like OpenTelemetry
