  • Analyze project and idea financials across portfolio components including forecast, actuals, direct expenses, contractor costs, internal workdays, and investment classifications.
  • Perform reconciliations across multiple project systems (CAPPM, OBI, Con-ledger, and PeopleSoft) and other portfolio data sources to maintain reporting accuracy and consistency.
  • Support forecasting, planning, budgeting, and performance reporting across the Global Technology project portfolio.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end reporting processes and deliverables, ensuring that established deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Modernize, automate, and standardize portfolio reporting processes, templates, and definitions across stakeholders to reduce manual effort and improve data quality.
  • Develop analytical models, manage supporting databases, and optimize data structures, integrity, validation, and access to improve visibility into project spend and portfolio performance.
  • Leverage Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx to deliver actionable insights and scalable solutions that connect portfolio and financial systems.
  • Maintain issue, action, and enhancement logs to track data-quality concerns, process improvements, and reporting requirements. This role requires the ability to connect multiple data points, understand the underlying logic, explain challenges clearly, and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Partner with Project Management Offices, Technology Finance, Business Lines, Finance teams, the Delivery Office, and portfolio stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely analytical support.
  • Translate complex portfolio and financial information into clear insights for finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, financial reconciliation issues, and reporting gaps in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Provide transparency into portfolio performance to support prioritization, resource allocation, forecasting, and management decision-making.
  • Develop strong relationships across Finance, Technology, and portfolio management teams to strengthen end-to-end reporting processes.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making, accountability, financial discipline, and continuous improvement, while proactively identifying reporting risks and data-quality issues.
  • Coordinate cross-functional reporting activities and multiple deliverables across tight monthly and quarterly timelines.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on portfolio data, financial components, and upstream and downstream processes, including support for internal and external audit requests.
  • Support team continuity through process documentation, knowledge transfer, and coverage across key deliverables.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in finance, portfolio management, financial reporting, data analytics, or a related field.
  • University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Management, or a related discipline.
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or relevant analytics and data credentials are considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and project financials.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience or exposure to Power BI, Python, Alteryx, or similar analytics technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise portfolio and financial systems, such as CAPPM and PeopleSoft, is considered an asset.
  • Strong reconciliation, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills across multiple systems and datasets, combined with sound business acumen.
  • Ability to translate complex financial and portfolio data into concise executive reporting and actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills across Finance, Technology, PMO, and senior management audiences.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent reporting cycles and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated focus on process optimization, automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.

What’s in it for you?

  • A rewarding career path with diverse opportunities for professional development.
  • An organization committed to making a difference in our communities — for you and our customers.
